The TEN series

SESSION 1-3: Sleeve Sessions

// Session 1: Enhance the quality of breath.
A free and open breath prepares the body for the demands of the upcoming changes.
Opening the breath through work on rib cage, diaphragm and arms, upper legs, hamstrings, neck and spine.

// Session 2: Establish support through feet into legs and spine.
Opening the breath changes the physical demands on the feet.
Creating flexibility and adaptability in feet and lower legs  for a better supported feeling on the whole body.

// Session 3: Establish the sides (lateral line), balancing front and back.
Lengthening the sides of the body, creating prevertebral space.
Differentiating soft tissue of the pelvic girdle and shoulder girdle to allow more movement options.

SESSION 4-7: Core Sessions

//Session 4: Opening midline, evoking balance span in pelvic floor.
Initiating transmission of leg support through pelvis, addressing mobility of legs relative to pelvis.

// Session 5: Balance relationship of thorax to pelvis
Establishing bilateral and prevertebral support in thorax and pelvis by addressing the surface and deep abdominal muscles.
Initiating differentiation of neurocranium and viscerocranium.

//Session 6: Balance and integrate pelvis with legs and spine.
Seeking to enlist more support and movement from legs, pelvis and lower back,
establishing the dual function of the sacrum as keystone of pelvis and base of spine.

//Session 7:  Balance neck and head on thorax - continuity of the spine
Addressing viscerocranium and relation to core,
normalizing relationship of neck to thorax and cranium.

SESSION 8-10: Integrative sessions

// Session 8: Structural Integration (enhancing structure to support increased function)
Addressing the girdle, that shows more structural restrictions (shoulder girdle or pelvic girdle).
Creating interventions that allow movements across one or more joints.

// Session 9: Functional Integration (refining the function to support the enhanced structure)
Addressing the girdle, that shows more functional (movement) restrictions.
Increasing contralateral movement in limbs, girdles, and axial complex.
Creating interventions that allow movements across one or more joints.

// Session10: Integration of the whole structure at the current level of order
Creating horizontals in major joints, diaphragms, and tissues.
Increasing presence of contralateral movement in the axial complex.
Consciously initiate movement with length.
